Here you will see diseases associated with the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system absorbs fats or fat-soluble vitamins through the lacteals of the small intestine. This system also removes waste products from the tissue and usually cooperates with the immune system to do so. Lastly, the lymphatic system returns filtered lymph to the veins at the base of the neck.
